Florida keys Islamorada fishing report.
2-23-11 Islamorada fishing report
We're experiancing some great fishing down here in the Florida Keys right now. Some big dolphin (mahi-mahi) and wahoo were mixed in with the kingfish, blackfin tuna, and sailfish offshore of the reef this week. We also had some really nice mutton snapper and amberjacks wreck fishing and yellowtail snapper and cero mackerel reef fishing here in Islamorada.

Fishing in Islamorada has been excellent the last few weeks. We're catching sailfish as well as alot of kingfish, mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, amberjack, and some wahoo, tuna, and dolphin.

Fishing is great down here in Islamorada with a nice mix of sailfish, big kingfish, blackfin tuna and some really nice wahoo offshore of the reef. Reef and wreck fishing has also been very good with nice mutton snapper and yellowtail snapper.

We,re still catching the sailfish on our fishing charters offshore of Islamorada as well as some big kingfish, blackfin tuna, dolphin, and beautiful wahoo. This 50# wahoo was caught on our last fishing trip. It's definitely a great time to get down to the Florida keys for some fishing!

Fishing has been hot. Sailfishing has been especially good with nice blackfin tuna, kingfish, and mutton snapper mixed in.

Fishing in Islamorada is spectacular. We've had awesome catches offshore of the florida keys on the last few charters with plenty of sailfish, monster size kingfish as well as dolphin and wahoo offshore of the Florida keys. On the wrecks and reefs we're catching some snapper and nice grouper including this huge 100# goliath grouper caught wreck fishing offshore of islamorada.

The fishing has been red hot down here in Islamorada this week. We're having one of the best grouper bites we've had in years wreck and reef fishing and we're also catching alot of nice dolphin and sailfish offshore of the keys.
11-27-11 Islamorada fishing report
Fishing down here in the florida keys Has remained very good. We've been catching a ton of dolphin and some sailfish offshore, nice grouper and snapper wreck fishing, mutton snapper, cero mackeral, some beautiful bar jacks, and lots of mangrove snapper reef fishing. The dolphin have been thick offshore with limit catches by mid day on a few fishing charters this week. We've had great catches with a mixed bag just about every trip.
11-18-11 Florida Keys Fishing Report
Our last few trips have been very good here in Islamorada. The reef fishing for mutton, mangrove and yellowtail snapper has been excellent and offshore of the reef the sailfishing has been good with alot of sailfish, quite a few dolphin and wahoo. On wednesday we had 3 sailfish releases and 8 dolphin offshore of Islamorada and a beautiful catch of big mangrove and yellowtail snapper reef fishing on a 3/4 day fishing charter.
11-14-11 Islamorada Reef Fishing Report
The fishing in the Florida Keys has been very good. Reef fishing and in particular patch reef fishing has been exceptional. On our last fishing charter we had a beautiful catch of snapper and grouper with 8 mutton snapper, 2 grouper, a bunch of yellowtail and mangrove snapper, cero mackerel and bar jacks while patch reef fishing and then went just offshore of the reef and caught a sailfish. Florida Keys sailfishing has been very good this early in the season and we're also catching some black grouper while fishing our Islamorada shipwrecks.
10-29-11 Islamorada Fishing report
Fishing in the florida keys has been very good, especially on our last few trips. The sailfish are showing up and wreck fishing for snapper and grouper has come on strong with nice catches of mutton snapper and black grouper. We're also catching dolphin with a few tuna still around and plenty of kingfish offshore of the florida keys reefs. Yesterday we had a beautiful mixed bag of 2 sailfish, our limit of kings, 8 dolphin, a black grouper, and a few jacks.
10-7-11 Florida Keys Fishing Report
Offshore fishing in Islamorada has is very good. There has still been a strong tuna bite and plenty of dolphin ( mahi-mahi ) offshore. Yesterday was the first day that we saw the tuna bite slow down a little, but the dolphin fishing was excellent with our limit of nice size schoolie and gaffer dolphin. Reef fishing has come on lately with some nice yellowtail snapper along with various other snapper bottomfishing and nice cero and king mackerel on top. There have been some monster kingfish on our local wrecks.
9-18-11 Islamorada offshore fishing report
The fishing offshore of Islamorada has been unbeleivable down here in the Florida Keys. The last few days have been especially hot with limit catches of big dolphin as well as a non stop bite of blackfin tuna. We,ve literally filled the fish box on the last few trips and have had to find room in the bait cooler for the last fish (and we have a very big fish box). On friday we had 50 dolphin in the boat by 9am and another 20 big blackfin tuna by noon. Dolphin or mahi mahi fishing has been even better than our spring and summer season. Now is definitely time to get in on some red hot offshore fishing in the Florida Keys.

Fishing down here in Islamorada is red hot. The Blackfin Tuna fishing has been "wide open" offshore of the florida keys in places like the Islamorada hump and our offshore seamounts. There have also been dolphin offshore and kingfish and snappers on the wrecks and reefs in Islamorada. The best thing going has been the tuna fishing and september is the month to get in on the best fishing the Florida Keys have to offer.

Deep sea fishing is hot down here in the Florida Keys right now. Yesterday we had the best bite of blackfin tuna I've seen in months. We caught the tuna offshore of Islamorada on one of the "humps" on live bait. The fish we're balling huge schools of sardines and it made for a very exciting bite. There's also been alot of dolphin around. The kingfish bite has been excellent just offshore of the reef and the yelloweye and vermillion snapper bite is spectacular on our wrecks offshore of Islamorada.

Fishing has been hot offshore of Islamorada with plenty of nice dolphin, as well as some very good tuna fishing. The reef fishing here in the keys has also been very good with plenty of yellowtail snapper as well as nice mangrove snapper, mutton snapper and grouper on our fishing charters.

We've had a spectacular dolphin fishing season this year. We've been catching lots and lots of beautiful gaffer and schoolie size dolphin as well as some nice "slammer" dolphin and some wahoo and sailfish as well. I can literally count the slow days on one hand and most days have been excellent on our fishing charters.
6-10-11 Florida Keys Fishing Report
Fishing is red hot offshore of Islamorada. The dolphin or mahi-mahi bite has been non stop with limit catches of schoolie and gaffer dolphin almost every day. There have also been some nice size "slammer" dolphin and we have been catching wahoo, blackfin tuna, and sailfish on our fishing trips as well. On the reef fishing charters the yellowtail snapper bite is very good and there have still been plenty of tarpon on the evening fishing charters here in Islamorada.

Dolphin fishing has been red hot down here in the Florida Keys. We've been slaying the dolphin offshore of Islamorada with limit catches almost every day. Today we had over 40 dolphin by 10am. There are lots and lots of schoolies and bigger fish as well. Yesterday we took a film crew out and shot some footage for the tv show I.G.F.A Hall of fame saltwater adventures with Bill Boyce. Bill and the camera man were both awesome and we had a great time catching dolphin and amberiacks with them. Look for the show on the World Fishing Network soon. I'll put it on here when I find out when it will air.
5-18-11 Florida keys fishing report
We had another great week of fishing down here in Islamorada this week. Dolphin or mahi-mahi fishing is great offshore of the Florida keys. We've had some spectacular days and some days where we had to work hard, but we've wound up with a nice box of fish just about every day. Yesterday we had an awesome catch with nice slammer dolphin up to 40# as well as plenty of gaffers and schoolie size mahi. The Florida Keys reef fishing for yellowtail snapper is also very good and the nearshore evening trips are seeing plenty of Tarpon.
5-9-11 Islamorada Sportfishing report
Both offshore fishing and evening fishing trips have been excellent in Islamorada. Offshore the fishing for dolphin or (mahi-mahi) has been very good with some nice "slammer" size dolphin around as well as plenty of gaffer's and schoolies. Over the weekend on our fishing charters we caught some nice dolphin in the 15 to 30# range and the schoolies and gaffers are starting to show up up in good numbers. Today offshore we had our limit of dolphin in just the first few hours of fishing. There have also been some blackfin tuna offshore of Islamorada and the tarpon fishing has been excellent on the evening trips with 5 tarpon released on a charter last night.
4-24-11 Florida keys deep sea fishing report
The offshore and reef fishing in Islamorada has continued to be very, very good the last few weeks. We've had one of the best bites of blackfin tuna ranging from 15 to 30# for a few weeks now. Also there have been alot of dolphin ( mahi-mahi ) and some wahoo around as well. On the reef the yellowtail bite has been very good and we're looking forward to the opening of grouper season on may 1st. Our evening tarpon trips have been on fire with a great tarpon bite. Our best trip this past week was 7 tarpon caught and released on a 3 hour fishing trip! We've caught over 25 tarpon on our evening fishing charters in the last week!
4-13-11 Islamorada deep sea fishing report
Fishing has been red hot offshore of the Florida keys the last few weeks. The last few trips have been phenominal with lots of nice blackfin tuna, some dolphin, and plenty of big amberjacks. Our reef fishing in Islamorada has also been very good with plenty of nice snapper.
4-6-11 Islamorada offshore fishing report
We had a spectacular day of fishing down here in the keys today with one of the hottest tuna bite's I've seen in a long time. We had 11 blackfin tuna all over 20# and a dozen dolphin including a few nice gaffers. The tuna bite was awesome with most of the fish falling for dead flying fish trolled from the kite, wich makes for a very exciting explosive bite.

Fishing's been great here in the keys. The yellowtail bite has been particularly good on our reef fishing trips. Offshore of Islamorada there have been lots of dolphin and some nice blackfin tuna. We've had alot of kids and family fishing trips lately. here are a few pictures.
3-26-11 Islamorada Fishing report
Both offshore and reef fishing have been excellent in the Florida Keys. Today we had a great catch of beautiful 3 to 5# yellowtail snapper as well as a bunch of kingfish and a beautiful 30# cobia reef fishing. Offshore of Islamorada We've had dolphin (mahi-mahi), amberjacks, and some nice blackfin tuna. We also had some nice mutton snapper this week while wreck fishing.
3-17-11 Florida keys offshore fishing report
We've had some great fishing down here in Islamorada Florida. The offshore fishing has been very good with quite a few dolphin around, Plenty of big amberjacks, nice blackfin tuna, lots of yellowtail snapper, kingfish, and some sailfish as well. We also had a few very nice surprise catches this week including a huge 75# Warsaw grouper and a beautiful 40# yellowfin tuna wich are very rare in the Florida Keys.

3-6-11 Florida Keys fishing report
Fishings been great down here in Islamorada. We've been catching all kinds of fish offshore of Islamorada including dolphin (mahi-mahi), mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, amberjacks, blackfin tuna, sailfish, and tons of kingfish. We also started our evening shark trips this past week and the shark fishing was red hot with a nice mix of sharks including blacktip sharks and some really nice bull sharks.

The blackfin tuna action continued this week in Islamorada. We've been catching some really nice tuna on our deep sea fishing charters the last few days. Brian and kerry had an awesome day with the blackfins on wednesday. On friday Smitty and the guys from Opa Locka had a good day with some tuna and some big kingfish.

We had some action with the blackfin tuna today on the Islamorada hump. we caught several really nice tuna and decent dolphin aboard the Capt. Easy today highlighted by Darryls 32# blackfin tuna. The bigger tuna have started to show here in the Florida Keys and we should be catching more and more blackfins in the coming weeks and months on live bait and vertical jigs.
2-5-11 Florida Keys deep sea fishing report
We had a great trip today, 10 year old Dj Eakin from new jersey caught his first sailfish on a fishing charter with us today. It was a beautiful 80# sail caught on live bait in 100 feet of water offshore of Islamorada. Dj came out with his dad and uncles who also caught plenty of kingfish and dolphin fishing with us this week.

Fishing down here in Islamorada Florida is going strong. We're catching plenty of kingfish as well as some nice amberjacks and almaco jacks, blackfin tuna, snappers and sailfish. Here's a picture of some amberjack and king fish caught on a deep sea fishing charter yesterday. We've been catching the kings live bait fishing and the jacks and tuna on vertical jigs fishing on the Islamorada hump and wreck fishing our deeper wrecks.

Fishing is still great in the florida Keys. We've had alot of variety the lately. Sailfishing is very good in Islamorada and we're also catching plenty of nice king mackeral in the 10-20# range. Theres been good bottomfishing as well and we had a beautiful catch of 5-7# yelloweye snapper and amberjack up to 40# this past friday on the Islamorada hump and our wreck and reef fishing has been good.

Sailfishing is still Hot down here in Islamorada we went 4 for 7 on a 3/4 day our last trip. We've also been catching alot of mackeral in the shallow water just inside the reef and the mutton snapper have been so thick that we've actually caught quite a few mutton snapper on the surface while trying to sight cast for sailfish that have been chasing bait showers. Happy New Year! Fishings great down here offshore of Islamorada. We've been catching a little bit of everything on our deep sea fishing charters, but the main thing would be sailfishing. Sailfishing has been excellent with multiple sailfish releases on just about every trip. We've also been catching cero mackeral and mutton snapper in the shallow water just inside the reef. Also dolphin, kingfish, and blackfin tuna while sailfishing.

Sailfishing has gotten hot down here in Islamorada. The last few fishing trips we've had multiple sailfish releases and seen over 10 sailfish on each trip. Sportfishing for sailfish in Islamorada should peak between now and february so it's a great time to come down to the Florida Keys and book a fishing charter.

Deep sea fishings been pretty good here in the Keys. Sailfishing has been pretty consistent and although the last few days have been a little slow we've managed to catch at least 2 a trip for the last few trips. We've also been catching mutton snapper and had a beautiful 30# cubera snapper last week while wreck fishing on our florida keys shipwrecks.

Fishing's been great down here in Islamorada Florida. We've been catching sailfish, kings, wahoo, dolphin, mutton snapper, yellowtail, and all kinds of other stuff on our deep sea fishing charters. Yesterday we had a beautiful catch of yellowtails up to 4 pounds including a few on the fly rod, some kings up to 30, mutton snapper, and amberjack. Here's a picture of a wahoo caught earlier this week.
Great fishing today, We took sean from minnesota out for a great mixed bag of kings, snapper, dolphin, and a beautiful african Pompano.

Fishings still been great down here in the Florida Keys. We had a 3/4 day today and caught a bunch of kingfish, a nice mutton snapper and a sailfish.
9-25-10 Florida keys fishing report
Great fishing out of Islamorada today. We went out for a 3/4 day and sleighed the tuna and dolphin. Probably the best bite of blackfin tuna I've seen in the last year. Wide open bite of blackfins up to 25#. We kept about 20 tuna and them left them biting to look for some dolphin. We wound up catching a dozen gaffer dolphin on the way home.
9-4-10 Islamorada fishing report
Fishings been great in Islamorada. Today we took Charles Ogburn and Dennis out for a nice catch of blackfin tuna, a dozen gaffer size dolphin and a 150# mako shark. The mako was a surprise here in the Florida Keys, but the tuna fishing has been consistently hot and the dolphin fishing has also been steadily good. 9-1-10 Fishing report for Islamorada
Took my son Ian out today for some fun fishing. Ian had a great time catching Tons of yelloweye and vermilion snapper offshore of Islamorada. We even managed to catch a few red grouper as well as a nice mutton snapper. Bottom fishing has been hot and on our last 3 fishing charters we were able to limit out on vermilion and yelloweye snapper in under an hour.

Yesterday we had an awesome catch with nice slammer dolphin up to 40# as well as plenty of gaffers and schoolie size mahi. The Florida Keys reef fishing for yellowtail snapper is also very good and the nearshore evening trips are seeing plenty of Tarpon.
5-9-11 Islamorada Sportfishing report
Both offshore fishing and evening fishing trips have been excellent in Islamorada. Offshore the fishing for dolphin or (mahi-mahi) has been very good with some nice "slammer" size dolphin around as well as plenty of gaffer's and schoolies. Over the weekend on our fishing charters we caught some nice dolphin in the 15 to 30# range and the schoolies and gaffers are starting to show up up in good numbers. Today offshore we had our limit of dolphin in just the first few hours of fishing. There have also been some blackfin tuna offshore of Islamorada and the tarpon fishing has been excellent on the evening trips with 5 tarpon released on a charter last night.

The offshore and reef fishing in Islamorada has continued to be very, very good the last few weeks. We've had one of the best bites of blackfin tuna ranging from 15 to 30# for a few weeks now. Also there have been alot of dolphin ( mahi-mahi ) and some wahoo around as well. On the reef the yellowtail bite has been very good and we're looking forward to the opening of grouper season on may 1st. Our evening tarpon trips have been on fire with a great tarpon bite. Our best trip this past week was 7 tarpon caught and released on a 3 hour fishing trip! We've caught over 25 tarpon on our evening fishing charters in the last week!

Fishing has been red hot offshore of the Florida keys the last few weeks. The last few trips have been phenominal with lots of nice blackfin tuna, some dolphin, and plenty of big amberjacks. Our reef fishing in Islamorada has also been very good with plenty of nice snapper.

We had a spectacular day of fishing down here in the keys today with one of the hottest tuna bite's I've seen in a long time. We had 11 blackfin tuna all over 20# and a dozen dolphin including a few nice gaffers. The tuna bite was awesome with most of the fish falling for dead flying fish trolled from the kite, wich makes for a very exciting explosive bite.

We've had some great fishing down here in Islamorada Florida. The offshore fishing has been very good with quite a few dolphin around, Plenty of big amberjacks, nice blackfin tuna, lots of yellowtail snapper, kingfish, and some sailfish as well. We also had a few very nice surprise catches this week including a huge 75# Warsaw grouper and a beautiful 40# yellowfin tuna wich are very rare in the Florida Keys.

Fishings been great down here in Islamorada. We've been catching all kinds of fish offshore of Islamorada including dolphin (mahi-mahi), mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, amberjacks, blackfin tuna, sailfish, and tons of kingfish. We also started our evening shark trips this past week and the shark fishing was red hot with a nice mix of sharks including blacktip sharks and some really nice bull sharks.

The blackfin tuna action continued this week in Islamorada. We've been catching some really nice tuna on our deep sea fishing charters the last few days. We had some action with the blackfin tuna today on the Islamorada hump. we caught several really nice tuna and decent dolphin aboard the Capt. Easy today highlighted by Darryls 32# blackfin tuna. The bigger tuna have started to show here in the Florida Keys and we should be catching more and more blackfins in the coming weeks and months on live bait and vertical jigs.

We had a great trip today, 10 year old Dj Eakin from new jersey caught his first sailfish on a fishing charter with us today. It was a beautiful 80# sail caught on live bait in 100 feet of water offshore of Islamorada. Dj came out with his dad and uncles who also caught plenty of kingfish and dolphin fishing with us this week.

Fishing down here in Islamorada Florida is going strong. We're catching plenty of kingfish as well as some nice amberjacks and almaco jacks, blackfin tuna, snappers and sailfish. Sailfishing has gotten hot down here in Islamorada. The last few fishing trips we've had multiple sailfish releases and seen over 10 sailfish on each trip. Sportfishing for sailfish in Islamorada should peak between now and february so it's a great time to come down to the Florida Keys and book a fishing charter.

Sailfishing has been pretty consistent and although the last few days have been a little slow we've managed to catch at least 2 a trip for the last few trips. Great fishing out of Islamorada today. We went out for a 3/4 day and sleighed the tuna and dolphin. Probably the best bite of blackfin tuna I've seen in the last year. Wide open bite of blackfins up to 25#. We kept about 20 tuna and them left them biting to look for some dolphin. We wound up catching a dozen gaffer dolphin on the way home.

Fishings been great in Islamorada. Today we took Charles Ogburn and Dennis out for a nice catch of blackfin tuna, a dozen gaffer size dolphin and a 150# mako shark. The mako was a surprise here in the Florida Keys, but the tuna fishing has been consistently hot and the dolphin fishing has also been steadily good. 9-1-10 Fishing report for Islamorada
Took my son Ian out today for some fun fishing. Ian had a great time catching Tons of yelloweye and vermilion snapper offshore of Islamorada. We even managed to catch a few red grouper as well as a nice mutton snapper. Bottom fishing has been hot and on our last 3 fishing charters we were able to limit out on vermilion and yelloweye snapper in under an hour.

We're experiancing some great fishing down here in the Florida Keys right now. Fishing down here in the florida keys Has remained very good. We've been catching a ton of dolphin and some sailfish offshore, nice grouper and snapper wreck fishing, mutton snapper, cero mackeral, some beautiful bar jacks, and lots of mangrove snapper reef fishing. The dolphin have been thick offshore with limit catches by mid day on a few fishing charters this week. We've had great catches with a mixed bag just about every trip.

Our last few trips have been very good here in Islamorada. The reef fishing for mutton, mangrove and yellowtail snapper has been excellent and offshore of the reef the sailfishing has been good with alot of sailfish, quite a few dolphin and wahoo. On wednesday we had 3 sailfish releases and 8 dolphin offshore of Islamorada and a beautiful catch of big mangrove and yellowtail snapper reef fishing on a 3/4 day fishing charter.

The fishing in the Florida Keys has been very good. Reef fishing and in particular patch reef fishing has been exceptional. On our last fishing charter we had a beautiful catch of snapper and grouper with 8 mutton snapper, 2 grouper, a bunch of yellowtail and mangrove snapper, cero mackerel and bar jacks while patch reef fishing and then went just offshore of the reef and caught a sailfish. Florida Keys sailfishing has been very good this early in the season and we're also catching some black grouper while fishing our Islamorada shipwrecks.

Fishing in the florida keys has been very good, especially on our last few trips. The sailfish are showing up and wreck fishing for snapper and grouper has come on strong with nice catches of mutton snapper and black grouper. We're also catching dolphin with a few tuna still around and plenty of kingfish offshore of the florida keys reefs. Yesterday we had a beautiful mixed bag of 2 sailfish, our limit of kings, 8 dolphin, a black grouper, and a few jacks.

Offshore fishing in Islamorada has is very good. There has still been a strong tuna bite and plenty of dolphin ( mahi-mahi ) offshore. Yesterday was the first day that we saw the tuna bite slow down a little, but the dolphin fishing was excellent with our limit of nice size schoolie and gaffer dolphin. Reef fishing has come on lately with some nice yellowtail snapper along with various other snapper bottomfishing and nice cero and king mackerel on top. There have been some monster kingfish on our local wrecks.

The fishing offshore of Islamorada has been unbeleivable down here in the Florida Keys. The last few days have been especially hot with limit catches of big dolphin as well as a non stop bite of blackfin tuna. We,ve literally filled the fish box on the last few trips and have had to find room in the bait cooler for the last fish (and we have a very big fish box). On friday we had 50 dolphin in the boat by 9am and another 20 big blackfin tuna by noon. Dolphin or mahi mahi fishing has been even better than our spring and summer season. Now is definitely time to get in on some red hot offshore fishing in the Florida Keys.

Fishing down here in Islamorada is red hot. The Blackfin Tuna fishing has been "wide open" offshore of the florida keys in places like the Islamorada hump and our offshore seamounts. Deep sea fishing is hot down here in the Florida Keys right now. Yesterday we had the best bite of blackfin tuna I've seen in months. We caught the tuna offshore of Islamorada on one of the "humps" on live bait. The fish we're balling huge schools of sardines and it made for a very exciting bite. There's also been alot of dolphin around. The kingfish bite has been excellent just offshore of the reef and the yelloweye and vermillion snapper bite is spectacular on our wrecks offshore of Islamorada.

Fishing is red hot offshore of Islamorada. The dolphin or mahi-mahi bite has been non stop with limit catches of schoolie and gaffer dolphin almost every day. There have also been some nice size "slammer" dolphin and we have been catching wahoo, blackfin tuna, and sailfish on our fishing trips as well. On the reef fishing charters the yellowtail snapper bite is very good and there have still been plenty of tarpon on the evening fishing charters here in Islamorada.

Dolphin fishing has been red hot down here in the Florida Keys. We've been slaying the dolphin offshore of Islamorada with limit catches almost every day. Today we had over 40 dolphin by 10am. There are lots and lots of schoolies and bigger fish as well. Yesterday we took a film crew out and shot some footage for the tv show I.G.F.A Hall of fame saltwater adventures with Bill Boyce. Bill and the camera man were both awesome and we had a great time catching dolphin and amberiacks with them. Look for the show on the World Fishing Network soon. Fishings still been great down here in the Florida Keys. We had a 3/4 day today and caught a bunch of kingfish, a nice mutton snapper and a sailfish.
9-25-10 Florida keys fishing report
Great fishing out of Islamorada today. We went out for a 3/4 day and sleighed the tuna and dolphin. Probably the best bite of blackfin tuna I've seen in the last year. Wide open bite of blackfins up to 25#. We kept about 20 tuna and them left them biting to look for some dolphin. We wound up catching a dozen gaffer dolphin on the way home.
9-4-10 Islamorada fishing report
Fishings been great in Islamorada. Today we took Charles Ogburn and Dennis out for a nice catch of blackfin tuna, a dozen gaffer size dolphin and a 150# mako shark. The mako was a surprise here in the Florida Keys, but the tuna fishing has been consistently hot and the dolphin fishing has also been steadily good. 9-1-10 Fishing report for Islamorada
Took my son Ian out today for some fun fishing. Ian had a great time catching Tons of yelloweye and vermilion snapper offshore of Islamorada. We even managed to catch a few red grouper as well as a nice mutton snapper. Bottom fishing has been hot and on our last 3 fishing charters we were able to limit out on vermilion and yelloweye snapper in under an hour.
We're experiancing some great fishing down here in the Florida Keys right now. Some big dolphin (mahi-mahi) and wahoo were mixed in with the kingfish, blackfin tuna, and sailfish offshore of the reef this week. We also had some really nice mutton snapper and amberjacks wreck fishing and yellowtail snapper and cero mackerel reef fishing here in Islamorada.

Fishing in Islamorada has been excellent the last few weeks. We're catching sailfish as well as alot of kingfish, mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, amberjack, and some wahoo, tuna, and dolphin.

Fishing is great down here in Islamorada with a nice mix of sailfish, big kingfish, blackfin tuna and some really nice wahoo offshore of the reef. Reef and wreck fishing has also been very good with nice mutton snapper and yellowtail snapper.

We,re still catching the sailfish on our fishing charters offshore of Islamorada as well as some big kingfish, blackfin tuna, dolphin, and beautiful wahoo. This 50# wahoo was caught on our last fishing trip. It's definitely a great time to get down to the Florida keys for some fishing!

Fishing in Islamorada is spectacular. We've had awesome catches offshore of the florida keys on the last few charters with plenty of sailfish, monster size kingfish as well as dolphin and wahoo offshore of the Florida keys. On the wrecks and reefs we're catching some snapper and nice grouper including this huge 100# goliath grouper caught wreck fishing offshore of islamorada.

The fishing has been red hot down here in Islamorada this week. We're having one of the best grouper bites we've had in years wreck and reef fishing and we're also catching alot of nice dolphin and sailfish offshore of the keys.

Fishing down here in the florida keys Has remained very good. We've been catching a ton of dolphin and some sailfish offshore, nice grouper and snapper wreck fishing, mutton snapper, cero mackeral, some beautiful bar jacks, and lots of mangrove snapper reef fishing. The dolphin have been thick offshore with limit catches by mid day on a few fishing charters this week. We've had great catches with a mixed bag just about every trip.
11-18-11 Florida Keys Fishing Report
Our last few trips have been very good here in Islamorada. The reef fishing for mutton, mangrove and yellowtail snapper has been excellent and offshore of the reef the sailfishing has been good with alot of sailfish, quite a few dolphin and wahoo. On wednesday we had 3 sailfish releases and 8 dolphin offshore of Islamorada and a beautiful catch of big mangrove and yellowtail snapper reef fishing on a 3/4 day fishing charter.
11-14-11 Islamorada Reef Fishing Report
The fishing in the Florida Keys has been very good. Reef fishing and in particular patch reef fishing has been exceptional. On our last fishing charter we had a beautiful catch of snapper and grouper with 8 mutton snapper, 2 grouper, a bunch of yellowtail and mangrove snapper, cero mackerel and bar jacks while patch reef fishing and then went just offshore of the reef and caught a sailfish. Florida Keys sailfishing has been very good this early in the season and we're also catching some black grouper while fishing our Islamorada shipwrecks.

Fishing in the florida keys has been very good, especially on our last few trips. The sailfish are showing up and wreck fishing for snapper and grouper has come on strong with nice catches of mutton snapper and black grouper. We're also catching dolphin with a few tuna still around and plenty of kingfish offshore of the florida keys reefs. Yesterday we had a beautiful mixed bag of 2 sailfish, our limit of kings, 8 dolphin, a black grouper, and a few jacks.
10-7-11 Florida Keys Fishing Report
Offshore fishing in Islamorada has is very good. There has still been a strong tuna bite and plenty of dolphin ( mahi-mahi ) offshore. Yesterday was the first day that we saw the tuna bite slow down a little, but the dolphin fishing was excellent with our limit of nice size schoolie and gaffer dolphin. Reef fishing has come on lately with some nice yellowtail snapper along with various other snapper bottomfishing and nice cero and king mackerel on top. There have been some monster kingfish on our local wrecks.

The fishing offshore of Islamorada has been unbeleivable down here in the Florida Keys. The last few days have been especially hot with limit catches of big dolphin as well as a non stop bite of blackfin tuna. We,ve literally filled the fish box on the last few trips and have had to find room in the bait cooler for the last fish (and we have a very big fish box). On friday we had 50 dolphin in the boat by 9am and another 20 big blackfin tuna by noon. Dolphin or mahi mahi fishing has been even better than our spring and summer season. Now is definitely time to get in on some red hot offshore fishing in the Florida Keys.

Fishing down here in Islamorada is red hot. The Blackfin Tuna fishing has been "wide open" offshore of the florida keys in places like the Islamorada hump and our offshore seamounts. There have also been dolphin offshore and kingfish and snappers on the wrecks and reefs in Islamorada. The best thing going has been the tuna fishing and september is the month to get in on the best fishing the Florida Keys have to offer.

Deep sea fishing is hot down here in the Florida Keys right now. Yesterday we had the best bite of blackfin tuna I've seen in months. We caught the tuna offshore of Islamorada on one of the "humps" on live bait. The fish we're balling huge schools of sardines and it made for a very exciting bite. There's also been alot of dolphin around. The kingfish bite has been excellent just offshore of the reef and the yelloweye and vermillion snapper bite is spectacular on our wrecks offshore of Islamorada.

Fishing has been hot offshore of Islamorada with plenty of nice dolphin, as well as some very good tuna fishing. The reef fishing here in the keys has also been very good with plenty of yellowtail snapper as well as nice mangrove snapper, mutton snapper and grouper on our fishing charters.

We've had a spectacular dolphin fishing season this year. We've been catching lots and lots of beautiful gaffer and schoolie size dolphin as well as some nice "slammer" dolphin and some wahoo and sailfish as well. I can literally count the slow days on one hand and most days have been excellent on our fishing charters.
6-10-11 Florida Keys Fishing Report
Fishing is red hot offshore of Islamorada. The dolphin or mahi-mahi bite has been non stop with limit catches of schoolie and gaffer dolphin almost every day. There have also been some nice size "slammer" dolphin and we have been catching wahoo, blackfin tuna, and sailfish on our fishing trips as well. On the reef fishing charters the yellowtail snapper bite is very good and there have still been plenty of tarpon on the evening fishing charters here in Islamorada.

Dolphin fishing has been red hot down here in the Florida Keys. We've been slaying the dolphin offshore of Islamorada with limit catches almost every day. Today we had over 40 dolphin by 10am. There are lots and lots of schoolies and bigger fish as well. Yesterday we took a film crew out and shot some footage for the tv show I.G.F.A Hall of fame saltwater adventures with Bill Boyce. Bill and the camera man were both awesome and we had a great time catching dolphin and amberiacks with them. Look for the show on the World Fishing Network soon. We had another great week of fishing down here in Islamorada this week. Dolphin or mahi-mahi fishing is great offshore of the Florida keys. We've had some spectacular days and some days where we had to work hard, but we've wound up with a nice box of fish just about every day. Yesterday we had an awesome catch with nice slammer dolphin up to 40# as well as plenty of gaffers and schoolie size mahi. The Florida Keys reef fishing for yellowtail snapper is also very good and the nearshore evening trips are seeing plenty of Tarpon.
5-9-11 Islamorada Sportfishing report
Both offshore fishing and evening fishing trips have been excellent in Islamorada. Offshore the fishing for dolphin or (mahi-mahi) has been very good with some nice "slammer" size dolphin around as well as plenty of gaffer's and schoolies. Over the weekend on our fishing charters we caught some nice dolphin in the 15 to 30# range and the schoolies and gaffers are starting to show up up in good numbers. Today offshore we had our limit of dolphin in just the first few hours of fishing. There have also been some blackfin tuna offshore of Islamorada and the tarpon fishing has been excellent on the evening trips with 5 tarpon released on a charter last night.
4-24-11 Florida keys deep sea fishing report
The offshore and reef fishing in Islamorada has continued to be very, very good the last few weeks. We've had one of the best bites of blackfin tuna ranging from 15 to 30# for a few weeks now. Also there have been alot of dolphin ( mahi-mahi ) and some wahoo around as well. On the reef the yellowtail bite has been very good and we're looking forward to the opening of grouper season on may 1st. Our evening tarpon trips have been on fire with a great tarpon bite. Our best trip this past week was 7 tarpon caught and released on a 3 hour fishing trip! We've caught over 25 tarpon on our evening fishing charters in the last week!

Fishing has been red hot offshore of the Florida keys the last few weeks. The last few trips have been phenominal with lots of nice blackfin tuna, some dolphin, and plenty of big amberjacks. Our reef fishing in Islamorada has also been very good with plenty of nice snapper.
4-6-11 Islamorada offshore fishing report
We had a spectacular day of fishing down here in the keys today with one of the hottest tuna bite's I've seen in a long time. We had 11 blackfin tuna all over 20# and a dozen dolphin including a few nice gaffers. The tuna bite was awesome with most of the fish falling for dead flying fish trolled from the kite, wich makes for a very exciting explosive bite.

Both offshore and reef fishing have been excellent in the Florida Keys. Today we had a great catch of beautiful 3 to 5# yellowtail snapper as well as a bunch of kingfish and a beautiful 30# cobia reef fishing. Offshore of Islamorada We've had dolphin (mahi-mahi), amberjacks, and some nice blackfin tuna. We also had some nice mutton snapper this week while wreck fishing.

We've had some great fishing down here in Islamorada Florida. The offshore fishing has been very good with quite a few dolphin around, Plenty of big amberjacks, nice blackfin tuna, lots of yellowtail snapper, kingfish, and some sailfish as well. We also had a few very nice surprise catches this week including a huge 75# Warsaw grouper and a beautiful 40# yellowfin tuna wich are very rare in the Florida Keys.

Fishings been great down here in Islamorada. We've been catching all kinds of fish offshore of Islamorada including dolphin (mahi-mahi), mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, amberjacks, blackfin tuna, sailfish, and tons of kingfish. We also started our evening shark trips this past week and the shark fishing was red hot with a nice mix of sharks including blacktip sharks and some really nice bull sharks.

The blackfin tuna action continued this week in Islamorada. We've been catching some really nice tuna on our deep sea fishing charters the last few days. Brian and kerry had an awesome day with the blackfins on wednesday. On friday Smitty and the guys from Opa Locka had a good day with some tuna and some big kingfish.

We had some action with the blackfin tuna today on the Islamorada hump. we caught several really nice tuna and decent dolphin aboard the Capt. Easy today highlighted by Darryls 32# blackfin tuna. The bigger tuna have started to show here in the Florida Keys and we should be catching more and more blackfins in the coming weeks and months on live bait and vertical jigs.

We had a great trip today, 10 year old Dj Eakin from new jersey caught his first sailfish on a fishing charter with us today. It was a beautiful 80# sail caught on live bait in 100 feet of water offshore of Islamorada. Dj came out with his dad and uncles who also caught plenty of kingfish and dolphin fishing with us this week.

Fishing down here in Islamorada Florida is going strong. We're catching plenty of kingfish as well as some nice amberjacks and almaco jacks, blackfin tuna, snappers and sailfish. Here's a picture of some amberjack and king fish caught on a deep sea fishing charter yesterday. We've been catching the kings live bait fishing and the jacks and tuna on vertical jigs fishing on the Islamorada hump and wreck fishing our deeper wrecks.

Fishing is still great in the florida Keys. We've had alot of variety the lately. Sailfishing is very good in Islamorada and we're also catching plenty of nice king mackeral in the 10-20# range. Theres been good bottomfishing as well and we had a beautiful catch of 5-7# yelloweye snapper and amberjack up to 40# this past friday on the Islamorada hump and our wreck and reef fishing has been good.

Sailfishing is still Hot down here in Islamorada we went 4 for 7 on a 3/4 day our last trip. We've also been catching alot of mackeral in the shallow water just inside the reef and the mutton snapper have been so thick that we've actually caught quite a few mutton snapper on the surface while trying to sight cast for sailfish that have been chasing bait showers. Happy New Year! Fishings great down here offshore of Islamorada. We've been catching a little bit of everything on our deep sea fishing charters, but the main thing would be sailfishing. Sailfishing has been excellent with multiple sailfish releases on just about every trip. We've also been catching cero mackeral and mutton snapper in the shallow water just inside the reef. Also dolphin, kingfish, and blackfin tuna while sailfishing.

Sailfishing has gotten hot down here in Islamorada. The last few fishing trips we've had multiple sailfish releases and seen over 10 sailfish on each trip. Sportfishing for sailfish in Islamorada should peak between now and february so it's a great time to come down to the Florida Keys and book a fishing charter.

Deep sea fishings been pretty good here in the Keys. Sailfishing has been pretty consistent and although the last few days have been a little slow we've managed to catch at least 2 a trip for the last few trips. We've also been catching mutton snapper and had a beautiful 30# cubera snapper last week while wreck fishing on our florida keys shipwrecks.

Fishing's been great down here in Islamorada Florida. We've been catching sailfish, kings, wahoo, dolphin, mutton snapper, yellowtail, and all kinds of other stuff on our deep sea fishing charters. Yesterday we had a beautiful catch of yellowtails up to 4 pounds including a few on the fly rod, some kings up to 30, mutton snapper, and amberjack.
